Description

Your English-speaking driver will come directly to your Rome hotel lobby to start your private transfer with a tour exploring Umbria, the green heart of Italy.

In just over an hour and a half, you will arrive at Civita di Bagnoregio, where time stands still. The town is said to be “dying” as it slowly slips into the surrounding valleys year after year.

A small “island” area remains where only a pedestrian bridge connects the town to the other side of the ravine. There are no cars in the small village. The photo opportunities are plentiful, and you will have time to walk across and explore this charming town with only a handful of permanent residents.

Indeed, one of the most unique and dramatic landscapes in Italy and not to be missed!

After your tour, it is time to move to Orvieto for lunch at one of its fantastic trattorias or restaurants for a tasty meal.

You can continue your tour by visiting the downtown and the Cathedral of Orvieto, with its incredible golden mosaics, gothic architecture, decorations, and gorgeous frescoes added throughout the centuries. At the end of your visit, you will drive to your destination, Florence.
