Full-day tour of the Vatican City with private vehicle and private English-speaking guide.

In the morning pick up at 9 am at your hotel/apartment and transfer to the Vatican Museums. You will admire some of the most famous ancient Greek and Roman sculptures, enjoy Raphael’s paintings, walk through Baroque galleries displaying frescos and tapestries, and of course marvel at the crowning masterpiece of European art: Michelangelo’s Sistine Chapel. Your visit will continue with St. Peter’s Basilica, the heart of Catholicism and largest church in the world. This stunning church is rich in masterpieces like the Bernini’s canopy and Michelangelo’s Pietà.

Free time for lunch in the city center (lunch is not included in the tour cost) and then visit to Castel Sant’Angelo. Because of its peculiarities, Castel Sant’Angelo can be considered a monument, an archaeological area and a museum at the same time. The building had an extremely varied use throughout its complex history: erected as an imperial mausoleum, it later became a fortified residence, a prison and finally a monument-museum.

A the end of the visit return to hotel/apartment within 4 pm.
